Prayers for Relationships
Prayer 1.
Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, peace, forgiveness, patience, and understanding. Bring me and my companion into awareness of each other that we may meet each other with the right attitude and perspectives to nurture a long term relationship. Upon encounter, bless me and this person I am getting to know, so that we may never surrender to whatever discouragements or disappointments that come our way. In spite of our challenges, fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other's worth. May we learn to support each other wisely. Please touch our hearts,fill it with much love for each other. Make our complicated relationship become ...
uncomplicated and easy to understand towards each other. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other adding to each other this gift of relationship. Lead us not into temptations that would distract us from the discipline of developing together as a couple. Guide us wherever we go and in whatever we do.. Always put us in each other's heart and mind to grow in love and in faith together honoring you. Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. I love you. Amen.

Prayer 2.
A Prayer for Restoration of Marriages:
Father, Today I come to you praying for those who feel lost and hopeless inregards to their relationship. Give them the courage to seek answers from you. Deliver them from the temptation to seek out comfort in ways that disrespect themselves and dishonor you. Let not their love through you be hindered by the spirit of doubt and lack of trust in your word. Help them to reassert themselves and be powerfully present to create the relationship they wish to experience. Give them hope Father, and give them the wisdom to build their communications and identify the things they need to fulfill their sacred vows to you and each other. Redeem them from the disgrace of embelishing relationships that while comforting, are purely demonic and deceptive. Give light to their eyes and strength to their spirit that they may align themselves with your Word, will, and purpose, finding you in this process to refresh and restore them. I bind the workings of man's selfish ambition, and the devil's dark devices. Release couple's and marriages to your answers. Cause them to come together and fight the good fight of faith. I pray for their deliverance, stability, and soundness of mind. Empower them by your spirit to give them hope where they have found only despair. Grant them rest and peace Father. Cleanse their hearts and renew a right spirit within them. Today I celebrate the consecration and sacredness of marriage. I celebrate the power of your word and the intervention of your son. Give them beauty for [in the place of] ashes, faith for [in the place of] fears, strength to replace their weakness, and grace to overcome the devil by the blood of the lamb, the word of thier testimony, and may they have the assistance of your Holy Spirit to empower their expressions of love. That by adherence to your Word they may overcome thier the storms of life victoriously. Confirm your word in thier lives Lord with signs and wonders following. Thank you for hearing the needs of your people whom you love and answering the prayers of your people. That we may always pray and not faint. Thank you for doing a complete work within couples and marriages Lord. This I pray in the Almighty name of Jesus. Amen. So let it be.
